  • Literature: Illustrated: Tyler Beard and Jim Arndt, "Art of the Boot," 1999, back cover and p. 143.
  • Notes: For nearly thirty years, Tres Outlaws Boots have exemplified unmatched style and custom craftsmanship. While the El Paso, Texas-based company's cowboy boots derive influence from early frontiersman, their designers' distinct visions and active imaginations transform each pair into a modern work of art. Master bootmakers hand-stitch, inlay, and apply appliqués to the leather, some custom pairs taking as many as 700 hours to produce. As a testament to their artistry and cultural relevancy, a famed example of Tres Outlaws Boots known as "The Mexican" has been acquired by the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC.

In the publication Art of the Boot, Tres Outlaws are described as "sexy, evocative and captivating." Celebrities from Jane Fonda and Lady Gaga to Judge Joe Brown have been known to don the boots. In the present example, these spirited women's western-style boots are comprised of leather, suede, and intricate beadwork. Lizard motifs further enliven the sunny, unmistakable pair of Tres Outlaws.
  • Condition: Overall good condition with light scuffs and scratched from handling commensurate with age. Unworn.
