Moran's is rounding out the fall with the third installment of Art of the American West on November 30th, 2021, with a second online-only session following with another 181 lots.

With a combined total of 401 lots, the auctions present a wide variety of fine art, textiles, pottery, basketry, jewelry, and more. The sale comprises a rich array of historical Western art with examples by Eanger Irving Couse, John Sloan, Henry Balink, and Fremont Ellis as well as contemporary artists Joni Falk, and Tony Abeyta. Bronzes represent more than 17 lots, including Sid Burns’ “Eight Plus Two” and Joe Beeler's compelling "Speaker of the House,” while Fritz Scholder’s stoic bronze, “Portrait of a Shaman,” contrasts with George Carlson dynamic “Mysteries of Migration.” Heading to the block is 163 lots of classic Southwest turquoise and silver jewelry, with works by John Winston and Alvin and Lula Begay. The auction also features Native American first-phase, second-phase, and trading post textile examples by notable weavers such as Grace Henderson Nez and Geraldine Begay along with a diverse assortment of Southwest and California Mission basketry and Northwest Coast carvings. Completing the auction are 32 dazzling examples of Southwest pottery, including a monumental olla by Debbie Garcia Brown.
