18th century, the wide circular charger elaborately repousse-decorated with neoclassical motifs centering a wide frieze depicting a continuous scene of mythological figures and sea creatures, the central acanthus-molded reserve issuing a raised knopped medallion depicting a woman washing a seated figure's feet, 2.375'' H x 17.75'' Dia., est: $500/700


Provenance: Private Collection, Ventura, CA. Condition: Overall good condition, with general scratches, nicks and wear to patination commensurate with age. Scattered spots of verdigris and oxidation commensurate with age. Rim very slightly out of round.
