Late 19th century, French, signed to lockplate ''Vve P. Sormani & Fils / 10 r. Charlot Paris'', the break-fronted cornice surmounted by a domed acanthus finial to each corner, and with two seated putti flanking a central foliate crest, over continuous egg-and-dart molding above the scrolling grapevine frieze interrupted by four acanthus and grapevine clasps heading the fluted stiles dividing the central hinged glazed door from the two flanking glazed and partially paneled doors, each door applied with floral garlands and opening to a floral silk-lined and mirrored interior with adjustable shelves, on short acanthus-cast toupie feet, with later key, , est: $15,000/20,000

Condition: Overall good condition. Expertly restored and refinished. Light marks and scratches. Scattered minor nicks along edges. The silk possibly replaced. The key later as stated, but matching in style.
