1860, Birmingham, maker's mark of Elkington & Co, the grape cluster finial atop a hinged lid over an attenuated, faceted neck on a globular body encircled by a collar of grape vines connected to the lid by a floral-decorated clasp, marked to underside of clasp, to hinge and to collar, 11.5'' H x 5.25'' Dia., est: $600/900

Provenance: Estate, Thousand Oaks, CA. Condition: Overall good condition. Marks, scratches, rubbing, tarnishing and polish residue to silver elements. The glass a deep ruby color, with a few minute shallow chips to rim of neck and several minor nicks to high points scattered throughout body.
