This time, collectors are sure to show excitement for this pendant’s unique provenance. It comes from the Estate of Connie Boucher (1930–2002), a trailblazing entrepreneur who helped transform the Peanuts brand into a global sensation. As founder of Determined Productions, Inc., Boucher revolutionized licensing, starting with a successful 1961 collaboration with Charles M. Schulz. Her suggestion for a Peanuts-themed datebook calendar launched a series of successful projects, including the bestselling Happiness Is a Warm Puppy. Through her company, Boucher introduced iconic Peanuts merchandise, such as plush toys and sweatshirts, and in 1968, the first plush Snoopy doll became a classic. She also supported cultural events, like a Peanuts exhibit at the Louvre, and contributed to conservation efforts, earning an Academy Award nomination for Amazon Diary. Her innovative approach to licensing shaped the commercial success of character-based franchises, securing her lasting legacy in Peanuts history.
