Probably circa 1800, the urn with impressed small uppercase mark ''Wedgwood'', moustache and size mark ''15'', the stand with similar maker's and moustache marks, probably associated, the urn in the form of an amphora, with trophy decoration to neck and loop handles above a tapering body with laurel band above Classical figures over a leaf tip-decorated foot, the stand with a band of anthemia over lion's mask suspended fruiting garlands over a laurel wreath, overall, 24'' H x 8'' Dia., est:$2000/3000
24'' H x 8'' Dia. Provenance: Property of a Private Collector, San Diego, CA; Property from the Estate of Oliver H, Ayres, Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Condition: Good overall condition. Urn and stand probably associated, as stated. The urn: 15'' x 7.5'' x 7.25'' The stand: 8.75'' x 8'' Urn of a slightly deeper, more vibrant blue than stand. With General light marks, scratches and wear, commensurate with age. With some areas of blue marks to white decoration. Rubbing to raised white areas. With some cracking to surfaces of trophies on neck. Threading through urn body and foot replaced. With a 0.75'' chip to underside edge of stand. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL
