signed & dated lower left: C. Bergen 1909, oil on canvas, 23'' x 31''. Note: Inscribed indistinctly verso. Provenance: Maxwell Galleries, San Francisco, CA, No. 550-3/22/45 (see label verso); Property from an Estate, Sherman Oaks, CA. Condition: Visual: Generally good condition. Very minor stable craquelure located near and above the girl's head. A small spot of paint loss in the middle portion of the tree near the blossoms. Would benefit from cleaning. Blacklight: Heavy masking varnish. No evidence of restoration under blacklight. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL.
