A Continental gilt-metal-mounted ceramic vase, Last quarter 19th century, probably Austrian or German, in the Japanese taste, with impressed marks ''12 / KP'' to underside and decorator's mark ''LP'', the pierced rim above dragon-form handles, over an oval body decorated with cranes on a river bank, over a circular footed base, 15.5'' H x 7'' W x 6.5'' D, est:$700/900

15.5'' H x 7'' W x 6.5'' D. Condition: Good overall condition. General light marks and scratches commensurate with age. Surface of vase with an overall fine, stable craquelure. Rubbing and darkening to mounts. With dirt accumulation and possibly off-color adhesive residue (from mounts) to interior and underside. With a few fine lines running vertically to interior- not visible on exterior. No touch-up evident under blacklight. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL
