A Royal Vienna style porcelain covered urn and pair of cabinet plates
Late 19th / early 20th century, the urn with blue beehive mark above ''Austria'' and further marked ''709'' having a domed lid with acorn finial above a tapering body with high-set handles, decorated with a continuous frieze of Classical mythological scenes, over a fluted socle on a square base; together with a pair of cabinet plates each with blue beehive and ''Czechoslovakia'', further impressed ''1310 / 14'', octagonal, one depicting Europa and the bull, the other Solomon's Idolatry, 3 pcs, the vase, 13.5'' H x 7'' W x 6'' D, est:$1000/1500
Provenance: Property from a Private Pasadena Collector, CA. Condition: Diameter of plates: 6.25''. Good condition overall. General light marks, scratches and rubbing- more notable to handles and extremities of vase. Plates with some spotty glazed pigment loss to inner borders. No apparent overpainted restoration fluoresces under blacklight. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL.
