A Dutch oak captain's arm chair, Late 19th/early 20th century, the pierced oval medallion back centered by an armorial, and surmounted by a waved gadrooned crestrail, over a spreading eared seat above pierced trestle supports centered by a similar medallion surmounted by drapery swags over scroll-form feet, joined by stretchers, est:$400/600
41.5'' H x 24'' W x 21'' D. Condition: Height of seat: 18.5'', width of seat: 17'', depth of seat: 16.5''. Good condition overall. Structurally sound. Nicely carved. With a golden honey color to surface overall. General marks, nicks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
