A German porcelain plaque Vestal Virgin Kauffmann, Late 19th/20th century, inscribed to reverse ''12 / Vestalin / Kauffmann / 8077'' further impressed ''12'' and with remnants of two paper labels, after Angelica Kauffmann, oval, depicting a Vestal Virgin holding an oil lamp, within a gilt-metal frame with easel back, the plaque, est:$600/900

5.25'' H x 4'' W. Condition: Good condition overall. Nicely painted. With typical light oxidation to surface. No overpainting evident. Edges with some dirt accumulation. Frame darkened. Crest of frame slightly bent. Easel back with bends and waves- would benefit from repair or adjustment.
