signed lower right: Edgar Payne, oil on waxed canvas, 16'' x 22''. Provenance: Private Collection, Fallbrook, CA. Condition: Visual: The canvas was cut down to the current size (painted surface visible on the canvas that curves around the stretcher bars). Canvas heavily waxed. Blacklight: Scattered spots of touch-up throughout the sky, a few minor dots of touch-up on the mountains and a small scattered area of touch-up in the lower center quadrant.
