stamped with signature and date on the base: Harriet W. Frishmuth Sc. 1916, stamped with foundry mark, foundry monogram and number on the base: Gorham Co. Founders GFC QAIK, bronze with dark brown patina , 13'' x 24''. Literature: J. Conner, L. Lehmbeck and T. Tolles, ''Captured Motion: The Sculpture of Harriet Whitney Frishmuth, A Catalogue of Works'', Christie's Publications, 2006, p. 232, no. 1914:4, another example illustrated. Provenance: Residence, San Diego, CA. Condition: Visual: Generally good condition with minor rubbing to the high points. No evidence of pits or cracks. Typical accumulated dirt in the crevices.
