A pair of Louis XV style ormolu figural chenets
Late 19th century, depicting a girl or boy seated within a portico above a curved staircase, decorated overall with acanthus scrolls, 13'' H x 11.5'' W x 7.25'' D, est:$800/1200
*Price Realized: $575.00

13'' H x 11.5'' W x 7.25'' D. Condition: Good condition overall. Nicely cast. General marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Gilding rubbed overall. With a medium lacquered finish to surface. Slight dirt accumulation overall. With evidence of regilding to backs of both. Back supports possibly replacements. With additional holes to underside - not visible from front.
