Portrait of a mother and daughter, oval: 24''x20'', est:$5000/7000
c. 1848, unsigned, oil on canvas laid to canvas, oval: 24'' x 20''. Note: An etching of this painting was apparently executed by Eichen circa 1855. Provenance: Property from a Private Collector, Beverly Hills, CA. Condition: Visual: Extensive, stable craquelure throughout. Blacklight: Small spots and lines of touch-up to address cracking scattered throughout the back ground and edges and a few spots of touch-up on the figures concentrated mainly on the mother's dress.
