Late 19th century, the movement marked ''Hersant Se../ de Chatelain / Paris'', the circular enamel dial with Arabic and Roman chapters surmounted by a flower-filled urn issuing acanthus scrolls, over a lion's head, on a bowed breakfronted base decorated with a laurel wreath, guilloche and acanthus sprays, on scroll feet, 18'' H x 18'' W x 7'' D, est:$800/1200

18'' H x 18'' W x 7'' D. Condition: Re-gilt. Good overall condition. Decently cast. General light marks and scratches commensurate with age. With some marks and scratches to glass bezels. Face in good condition. Back bezel frame and door loose. Movement appears in tact and original. With pendulum. Working condition unknown and not guaranteed. No key.
