Austro-Hungarian silver leather cartridge cases
Late 19th/early 20th c, with Diana mark within a five-lobed flower, and with maker's mark ''RS'', bronze-patinated .800 silver, each with flap of waved form, centered by a removable double-headed crowned eagle holding a sword and orb, mounted on a red leather case, with belt closure, 2 pcs, overall, 3.75'' H x 6'' W x 1.75'' D, est:$700/900
3.75'' H x 6'' W x 1.75'' D. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Dale Beebe, West Hollywood, CA. Condition: In good condition overall. Nicely made. General light marks and scratches to surface. Some rubbing to patination. Leather with light marks and scratches, minor cracking and typical wear. Slight darkening to edges of leather to reverse of flap mount and overall. Each with top leather strap on front flap broken, with remnant remaining in clasp. Also with slight dents to top edge at joint with leather back. Slight dirt accumulation overall.
