Christ carrying the Cross to Calvary, unsigned, oil on canvas laid to canvas, 46'' H x 70'' W, est:$1500/2000
*Price Realized: $8,625.00

46'' H x 70'' W. Provenance: Property of a Non-profit Organization, Beverly Hills, CA. Condition: Visual: Craquelure throughout and some scattered surface abrasions and minor losses. A vertical 2'' tear in the upper center quadrant and a vertical crease between Jesus and Mary extending the length of the canvas. Blacklight: An extensive area of scattered touch-up in the upper center quadrant. Spots and areas of touch-up scattered on the figures. Evidence of older restoration along the vertical crease and in other areas throughout.
