An Italian Renaissance style hall stand
20th c, the reverse breakfronted top above a pair of twisted wrought iron bars suspended by pierced scrolling lion head terminals, flanking a triple-divided back inset with mirror plates, with a pair of carved cameo roundels to sides, over a further similar pair of wrought iron bars supported by similarly carved lion terms, over Solomonic columnar uprights, before a floral vine-carved back, on stepped supports above paw-form feet, 80'' H x 62'' W x 18'' D, est:$1000/2000
80'' H x 62'' W x 18'' D. Provenance: Property of a Private Pasadena, CA Collector. Condition: Nicely carved. With a chestnut color to stained beech wood overall. Decoration well executed. Should be affixed to a wall when installed. General marks, nicks, scratches, rubbing and wear commensurate with age and use. Some shrinkage cracking to timber about roundels on back. Some re-gluing and resecuring to lower wrought iron elements. Wear to base.
