Paul Jouve, Adam & Eve art deco bronze bas relief, Circa 1930, incised with signature lower right ''Jouve'' (1880-1973, French), depicting a woman holding an apple before a baboon, within a landscape, est:$1000/1500
8'' H x 14'' W. Note: By repute, another example from this limited 'Adam & Eve' edition is in the collection of the Musee des Annees Trente, Boulogne-Billancourt, France. Provenance: Estate, Los Angeles, CA. Condition: Good overall condition. With an even medium brown patina to surface. General light marks, scratches and minor rubbing to surface commensurate with age. More notable rubbing to leg of woman. Panel somewhat bowed- relief unevenly bowed at top third and some consequential minor creasing at edge borders. Very minor chipped losses to edges of wooden panel.
