Late 19th c, in the Renaissance style, the pierced foliate-cast enameled finial inset with amethyst colored 'jewels', over a spreading faceted lid above a conforming body over a circular foliate-cast base, inset with further jewels, on scrolled feet, 16'' H x 7 Dia., est:$1000/1500

16'' H x 7 Dia. Provenance: Property from the Marjorie Bacon Trust, Montecito, CA. Condition: General light marks and scratches, commensurate with age. Metal elements largely rubbed. With losses to enamel overall. Glass somewhat spotted. With a 0.75'' x 0.25'' chip to rim of body. Lip of lid with a 0.25'' x 0.5'' chip. Base mount appears to be assembled from various circular mount elements. Slight dirt accumulation overall.
