19th/early 20th c, probably German or Italian, marked with a blue underglaze six-prong star, modeled as a winged Triton holding aloft a shell on a waved quadripartite base, decorated overall with floral clasps, 20'' H x 19.5'' W x 20.5'' D, est:$1000/1500

20'' H x 19.5'' W x 20.5'' D. Provenance: Property of a Private Pasadena, CA Collector. Condition: Good condition overall. Nicely modeled and decorated. General marks, scratches and rubbing to surface commensurate with age and use. A few small chipped losses at edge of base. Minor losses to tips of Triton's hair. Ruffled edges of shell with a few well matched overpainted losses to tips.
