20th century, the figural hinged lid above a ribbed well, mounted on a shell platform over a footed base, 6'' H x 7.25'' W x 6.5'' D, est:$300/500
*Price Realized: $488.75

Provenance: Property belonging to an Estate, Dana Point, CA. Condition: General marks and scratches to surface and rubbing to painted decoration. Inset liner to well with chipped loss to rim. Shell with a fine inherent crack - does not appear to affect the stability.
