Louis XVI style polychromed secretaire a abattant
Late 19th c, painted mahogany and satinwood, the pierced ormolu three-quarter gallery over an inset eared variegated white marble top above a paneled frieze drawer decorated with floral garlands, paterae and cherubs, over fluted three-quarter columns flanking a double-paneled fall front decorated with scantily clad classical maidens, reversing to a gilt-tooled green leather writing surface and opening to an arrangement of drawers and pigeon holes, above a pair of paneled doors decorated with putti and enclosing a shelf and coffre fort, over toupie feet
